HOW TO BRING OUT SOCIAL MEDIA USERS TO THE REAL WORLD
Most social media platforms have a feature to share location, but it does not direct users to meet in person. Being able to see a glimpse of friends' lives without direct or 1-to-1 interaction decreases in-person interaction. To reduce the gap between online interaction and in-person interaction, Wallog explored ways to offer incentives based on in-person activities.

FEATURE TO ACTIVATE
IN-PERSON INTERACTION 1
Get a glimpse of a friend's life through the Tap feature
Easy access to friends' life updates online decreased the necessity of meeting in person. The tap feature gives access to see friends' updates when tapping on each other's phones in real life. It incentivizes in-person interaction by limiting access to each other's profiles.
1. Tap to unlock friend's room (profile)
Tap on each other's phones to unlock each other's profile page and share contents.
2. Share location
Share location with your friends and meet up with them to tap.
3. Keep up the temperature between friends
Similar to Snapchat and TikTok's streak feature, this feature nudges users to keep tapping after the initial tap to unlock a friend's profile. The more users tap, the hotter the temperature gets.
FEATURE TO ACTIVATE
IN-PERSON INTERACTION 2

Creating a profile that resembles a user's personal space in real life
Based on the research, people feel more connected and open when interacting in a more personalized and cozy space. Users can decorate their profile page based on their own room, upload and archive photos and videos. This feature adopted the idea of bringing a friend over to one's house to induce more genuine and viceral interaction on and offline.
1. Personalize the home page by uploading a photo of your favorite part of the room
Take a photo of your room wall and set it as your home page. Turn it into a space comfortable enough to be fully yourself.
2. Upload photos and videos to decorate the space
Add photos and videos to your home page to make it personal. This page will be open to your friend when it's unlocked through tapping.
UI CONCEPT + BRAND IDENTITY
Interface design focused on delivering the physicality of old communication tools, such as letters and envelopes, to reduce the gap between online space and offline space. Applied paper textures, grains, stamps, and postcard shapes to UI elements to replicate slower, physical communication methods.
